Part Time Accountant
The Accountant will oversee all financial aspects of the golf club, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance. This role ensures accuracy in financial records and supports the management team in making informed business decisions.
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Reconcile bank statements and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Process payroll and manage employee benefits reporting.
- Assist with tax preparation and coordinate with external auditors when needed.
- Monitor cash flow, revenue, and expenses to ensure financial stability.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and optimize financial processes.
- Support the management team with financial insights and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of accounting experience (hospitality, golf, or country club experience preferred).
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, budgeting, and tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Course Maintenance
The Course Maintenance Worker is responsible for the daily upkeep of the golf course, ensuring that the grounds, greens, and landscaping are kept in top condition. This role is essential to providing golfers with an excellent playing experience.
- Maintain fairways, greens, bunkers, and roughs by mowing, edging, trimming, and watering.
- Operate and maintain golf course equipment, such as mowers, trimmers, and utility vehicles.
- Assist with irrigation system maintenance and repairs.
- Perform landscaping tasks, including planting, pruning, and debris removal.
- Apply fertilizers and pesticides as directed (with proper training and certification).
- Set up and maintain course markers, tee boxes, and hazards.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Previous experience in golf course maintenance, landscaping, or groundskeeping preferred but not required.
- Ability to operate and maintain lawn care equipment.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong attention to detail and a good work ethic.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical labor.
